We both hate talking about ourselves, so here’s a little synopsis of us individually told from the mouth of the other….

“Cam’s the Chef. A bald beautiful man, that like most Chef’s and well many Scotsmen in general struggles to not use the ‘C’ word in most sentences. Upon first glance you would think he’s the quiet type but if you have the pleasure of working alongside him, or if he has a stiff drink in his hand - usually after a long days graft, then he is an astounding social butterfly that will charm the pants off you. He certainly did me! Like a lot of couples, we met when working together - I couldn’t take my eyes off him. His passion and talent for cooking was incredibly sexy! It wasn’t the fact that he was a Chef that got me. It was his love and drive for his job that had me at ‘hello’. I’ve told him many a time that even if he was stacking shelves in the local shop, and did so with the same fines’, I would still be mesmerised. Those that know Cam would describe him as the funniest, most down to earth, kind and caring man. He would do anything you asked of him and 100 times more. Although he describes his job as, “just putting dinner on the table”, it will be the best Dinner you will remember for a long time!”

“Jade, the other half, the better half. In all counts this is 100% true. Trust Me! She is the brains, the beauty, and the balls between us both. This website was her fantastic idea and with her expertise in photography and love for creating all I am really doing is fucking food on a plate and the rest is all her! She may be an awkward social reprobate who will tell you her most personal thoughts before you know her second name, but MY GOD, you will never meet a kinder and more truthful person. Heart on the sleeve at all times and will stick her foot in her mouth in nearly every situation. She always sees the best in people even when they are complete arseholes (me included). She once gave her last £50 to a junkie on the promise that when he got back to London he would post the money to her address…..Go Figure! I’ve not worked with a lot of people out-with the kitchen, but Jade’s talent behind a camera and a computer is fantastic. I could type for ages of how amazing she is but she is currently telling me that I am writing too much, so… I’ll leave this last little bit. Without her I would be completely fucked, she holds me together, keeps me focused, and has so much passion for life and work that I am just astounded that she is still with me. Love you Watson.”

Maia, is our beautiful little girl. Definitely not a ‘mistake’ but came along as the best “Oh, shit” surprise that we could have ever not asked for. In all seriousness though, she is the biggest drive in life. Like every parents we want to be the best people we can be. She’s the only one that doesn’t know we’re a couple of reprobates and we’re seriously going to get a kick in the ass from her when she’s 21 and realises we do and say everything we’re teaching her not to. She’s completely the best of us.

Aila, the next little bump to come along, was indeed planned this time round. Hail Mary! We were still absolutely terrified of all the sleepless nights and broken ear drums. Thankfully, she’s the Yin to Maia’s Yang.

Falling pregnant with Coen was a “It’s all fucked anyway” kinda moment. Although, life is non stop craziness this little man completes our family.

Let’s sum things up…
